ONLINE TRAINING COURSE: COEXISTENCE THROUGH GAMES

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The PE teachers from the four schools will take an online course of specific training on coexistence. This action will be coordinated by INEFC.

Any game becomes a kind of miniature society in which players share different types of genuine relationships when playing spontaneously, showing their most genuine way of interacting with the other participants. The game becomes a laboratory of social relationships where people can learn to live together intelligently. The leader of the group, knowing the potential of the game, can encourage respectful and intelligent interpersonal dialogue between people of different gender (equal opportunities for women and men) age (intergenerational solidarity) and cultural framework (peaceful multiculturalism) improving their social wellbeing.

It is this conviction which encourages us to offer this course. Thus, it is aimed at students and professionals from the fields of Physical and Sport Education, Education Sciences, Social Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, Social Work, Coaching, Management and Leadership teams, and tourism.

After completing the course, students will know how to identify and analyse different types of relationships that can be promoted through games: simple and complex relationships; unambiguous and contradictory relationships; relations in competing and sharing; relationships with colleagues and opponents; etc.

The main training activity is to watch recordings where the fundamentals of the course through different game situations are explained. Reflection activities are also organized in order to assimilate the knowledge of the course.
